AGIBOT Innovation Technology Co. today claimed that it is one of the first companies to have rolled out 10,000 humanoid robots. The Shanghai-based company said this marks a transition from early-stage validation to scalable, real-world robot deployments.
“Reaching 10,000 units is not simply about producing more robots; it reflects a fundamental shift in our ability to scale,” stated Peng Zhihui, chief technology officer of AGIBOT. “As our supply chain matures and manufacturing standardizes, we are seeing a pivot from small-scale, niche applications to robust, large-scale commercial demand. The widespread deployment of AGIBOT’s robots is no longer about seeking technical viability, but about delivering scalable value and driving the adoption of embodied AI.”

Would love to see this improved. GPT-4 is ancient technology. Here's to more good work from them

The solution to our cooling and water problem!!! China has already figured it out!
Build out solar above it over the ocean and install data centers under it.

China is the new super power. It leads in tech in every meanful way. This anti-a.i shit and anti-science war is literally giving up our position as a world power. This is what Russia did 35 years ago with their current bs and now they just throw people into the meat grinder. We'll be that in 30 years and will probably be a satellite to china if we're lucky.

Stanford report highlights growing disconnect between AI insiders and everyone else
https://techcrunch.com/2026/04/13/stanf ... yone-else/
The way I see it, AI experts specialize in the technical aspects and alignment. They are not necessarily economists, sociologists, or political scientists. Their judgment is probably based on their belief in the technical feasibility of AGI. Meanwhile, ordinary people are concerned about their livelihoods and the environment. They may also perceive the people in charge of integrating AI into medical care as unable to do so competently and safely, even if AI experts believe that to be technically possible.
Also, experts and ordinary people may define the "economy" differently.
