The new AI-powered Wikipedia competitor falsely claims that pornography worsened the AIDS epidemic and that social media may be fueling a rise in transgender people.

On Monday, Elon Musk’s xAI startup launched Grokipedia, which the billionaire is pitching as an AI-generated alternative to the crowdsourced encyclopedia Wikipedia. Musk first announced the project in late September on his social media platform X, saying it would be “a massive improvement over Wikipedia,” and “a necessary step towards the xAI goal of understanding the Universe.”

XAI Grok 5 Bigger with More Intelligence Density Should

Elon Musk updated that XAI Grok 5 has 6 trillion parameters and has more intelligence density per gigabyte. It will be released in Q1 2026.

Grok 5 should have 1.4 to 1.6 times performance and 96-100% scores on a lot of phd areas.

A 2-3X performance jump in AI was the GPT-3 to GPT-4 move. However, does it cross some level where it goes from good to great.

Elon Musk says Grok 4.20 should release by Xmas. It will upgrade top benchmarks where Grok 4.1 Fast scored perfectly in agentic tool use and beat rivals like GPT-5 in speed and cost. Users are already raving about Grok 4.1 Fast with one building a full ASCII Mario game in minutes, as xAI pushes rapid improvements in reliable, long-context AI.

XAI continues to apply updates and fixes to Grok 4.1.

Google Gemini 3 Pro is slowly slipping on the realtime ratings on lmarena for text. It is down from the low 1505-1510 level to 1495.

Grok 4.1 thinking is holding at 1481. It is only a 1% or 14 point ELO gap.

XAI Grok 4.1 thinking gets more reinforcement learning training.

There is reportedly an XAI Grok 4.2 that could be released in December, 2025.

XAI Grok 4.2 May Have Cracked the Code on Trading

xAI Grok 4.20 created a 47% return in the Nasdaq and outperformed all others in the Alpha Arena competition.

32 instances of various LLMs (including multiple variants of the same model under different prompting strategies like “Situational Awareness,” “Monk Mode,” “Max Leverage,” and “New Baseline”) were each allocated $10,000 in real money to trade autonomously on the Nasdaq exchange.

The total capital across all participants was $320,000. Models had to generate trading ideas, size positions, time entries/exits, and manage risk without human intervention, using only market data inputs.
