A video filmed in Ginza, a shopping district in Tokyo, showed a group of masked individuals robbing a luxury watch shop on Monday.
They wielded a knife while inside and threatened to kill the shop's sales clerks - smashing a display and fleeing the scene with stolen goods, Japanese broadcaster NHK reported.
Police say they believe the robbery was committed by three people who fled in a rented van that may have had replacement licence plates. Four arrests have been made in connection with the incident so far.
No one was hurt.

Sayfullo Saipov killed eight when he drove a truck at pedestrians and cyclists on a Manhattan street in 2017.

Wyssem Manai and Maxime Guyennon left Philippe Monguillot beside the bus with serious head injuries in the city of Bayonne in south-west France in 2020.
Manai and Guyennon, were jailed for 15 and 13 years respectively on Thursday.
The pair, both aged 25, were convicted of intentional violence resulting in death without intent to kill.
Prosecutors said Mr Monguillot was set upon after asking a small group of men on his bus to show their tickets and adjust face-masks they were wearing over their chins.

Looks like a famous person shared a fake news article to try and claim Megan Fox is a pedophilic sexual predator for having one or more gay kids.
Homosexuality runs in families, each older brother also increasing the odds a male will be homosexual.
Homosexual males actually have brains that are less masculine.
If they do turn out to be transexual women (which I don't know why they are all claimed to be) one form of gender dysphoria is tied to being born a hyper feminine homosexual that identifies with girls and if they don't become more masculine by about puberty onset it is locked in.

I had just brought it up because I wanted to comment on that disgusting attack a famous person made against Megan but thought it did look weird if her 3 kids were gay so I wanted to explain what I knew.
