Now this is insane. Cannabalizing their own stock of ICBMs just to use them as decoys? The CIA must be having an orgasm.

The empty nuclear cruise missiles Russia fired into Ukraine were decoys meant to draw Ukrainian antiaircraft fire from other incoming missiles and/or to trick the Ukrainian AA weapons into revealing their locations. The nuclear warheads were due for retirement anyway as Russia has newer models. It was actually an intelligent use of resources.

The Ukraine War more generally is a place where everyone is sending their older weapons to die.

Ukraine war: Russia demands annexations recognised before talks

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63832151
The Kremlin said it was open to negotiations, but not on the West's demand to pull out of Ukraine.

Russia illegally annexed four Ukrainian regions at the end of September, without controlling any of them.

Nine months into its invasion, it has lost more than half the land it seized.
And this is why negotiations are completely useless. Putin can negotiate with Western bombs if he likes. Weapons deliveries to Ukraine need to be accelerated and Russia needs to bleed.

I have a bad feeling this war is going to last a LONG time. Going to be like a high-intensity version of the War in Donbas, occasionally flaring up into fears of nuclear and chemical war every now and again while ultimately providing a baseline version of the rise of major drone warfare. Heck, in a couple years, I wouldn't be surprised if Russia and Ukraine field the world's largest drone/robotic armies (for now).
And remember my friend, future events such as these will affect you in the future

Russia will run out of funds by the end of 2023 at the rate it is depleting it's reserves. Russia cannot afford a war past the end of 2023. However, Ukraine and the West most certainly can.

Ukraine has the time and Russia does not. Russia has already been defeated it's just a matter of how long Russia wants to draw this out and how likely they want to make revolution at home at this point. Losers do not dictate terms.

Russia Cracks Down On Military Reporting
by Dan Parsons
December 1, 2022

Introduction:
(The Drive) The discussion of a host of military topics is now banned from public debate within Russia. The decree comes as the Russian military's battlefield defeats in Ukraine have mounted.

“Russian authorities have banned public discussions of a wide range of non-classified military subjects that activists say will effectively prevent the public from learning crucial information about the Armed Forces,” the Moscow Times reported. The “Federal Security Service (FSB) order, which enters into force Dec. 1, lists information that is not classified as a state secret, but which ‘can be used by foreign states, organizations, and citizens against Russia’s security.’”

Both the structure and size of the Russian Armed Forces are topics of discussion now legally forbidden, according to the Moscow Times. Other punishable topics of conversation are weapons, troop deployments and training, troop morale, and crimes committed by military personnel.

In addition to outright opponents of Russia's war on Ukraine, some of even the most ardent supporters of Vladimir Putin in the media have been outspoken in their critiques of certain aspects of the war effort. There have been reports that some Russian military bloggers have also raised the ire of the government for some of the content they produce and how it reflects on the Kremlin. It will be interesting to see how this is enforced going forward.

EU Commission Chief in Hot Water Over Ukraine War Loss Estimates
by Alexandra Brzozowski
December 1, 2022

November , 2022

Introduction:
(EurActiv) European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has come under fire for publishing and then unpublishing a video containing what appears to be a very high estimate of killed Ukrainian military officers.

The backlash came after von der Leyen said in a video message on Wednesday (30 November) that an estimated 120,000 Ukrainians had been killed during Russia’s war.

“It is estimated that 20,000 civilians and more than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed so far,” von der Leyen said in the original version of the video, reshared later by Twitter users.

She did, however, not specify where the data came from.

The European Commission later deleted the video of von der Leyen’s speech, as well as its transcript, and republished both without the sentence containing the numbers.

G7 coalition agrees $60 per barrel price cap for Russian oil

https://www.reuters.com/business/energy ... 022-12-02/
WASHINGTON/BRUSSELS, Dec 2 (Reuters) - The Group of Seven (G7) nations and Australia on Friday said they had agreed a $60 per barrel price cap on Russian seaborne crude oil after European Union members overcame resistance from Poland and hammered out a political agreement earlier in the day.

The EU agreed the price after holdout Poland gave its support, paving the way for formal approval over the weekend.

The G7 and Australia said in a statement the price cap would take effect on Dec. 5 or very soon thereafter.

Show this to everyone who thinks that Ukraine should stop fighting for its people.
Up the Taliban! They kept fighting and they send the Americans packing.
Something like that?
First of all Taliban is political movement, and Ukraine is sovereign democratic state, and Ukrainians are an ethnic group of indigenous people of Ukraine.
And yes, we keep fighting and we will send the Russians to pack.
Of course, if other democracies support us.

At what point is a country no longer an oligarchy and instead deserves to be called a democracy? Are there any countries on the planet that qualify in your mind as being "a democracy"?

One of the biggest shocks at least when dealing with war and foreign policy beliefs(for me but also for some serious people at state, etc) is literally seeing Russia being defeated by Ukraine. Anyone before this would have thought that they'd literally own Ukraine within 3-4 months.

Instead Putin is literally shitting his pants falling down stairs. lol

Let's assume, prove you point.
To began with, I propose to define with concept of oligarchy.
