"Never Happened" – sci-fi short film

Never Happened is a short film written and directed by Mark Slutsky. It is featured this month on Dust, a new multi-platform destination for science fiction filmmakers and fans.

Screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016, Never Happened "is set in a world much like our own – just a little different," according to Slutsky. "A world in which we can manipulate our thoughts, our lives, just a little more than we already can. The technology in the film is fictional, but in many ways I think we have always applied the same principles to the way we view our lives, the way we selectively tell ourselves our own stories."

Never Happened tells the story of work colleagues Laura and Grady, who have an impulsive fling on a business trip, and decide it might be for the best if it all just never happened.
