Hmm, interesting question... maybe because there are no any such photos?

Try to grasp this: they stayed there for a month jointly and in the same conditions with local personnel who was there permanently. Local personnel does not suffering any terrible consequences. And now try to draw conclusions. I hope this will not be so difficult with your bachelor degree.
...
Local personnel follow procedures to minimize their exposure.
Around 3,000 live inside the exclusion zone for up to 14 days at a time carrying out their dangerous work, while another 3,800 live on the borders of the exclusion zone and commute in.

They inhabit towns such as Slavutich, Ukraine, located just over 40 miles away from Chernobyl, which was built to house 25,000 former exclusion zone residents. Each day three ‘elektrichka’ trains ferry workers to the site, via Belarus, and then back again, having passed through radiation detectors.

In contrast, Russian soldiers have reportedly acted with reckless disregard to hazardous conditions.
Shortly after the occupation started, Ukrainian officials warned that radiation levels at Chernobyl were rising due to a large number of heavy military machines disturbing the topsoil around the area. These reports have now been confirmed by employees working at Chernobyl around the time of the invasion who observed “a big convoy of military vehicles” driving straight through zones so contaminated with radiation that even trained safety workers at Chernobyl are not allowed to venture there.

Russian armored vehicles without radiation protection were seen driving through an area called the “Red Forest,” an area of woods four square miles in size surrounding the power plant. The area absorbed so much radiation from the Chernobyl explosion that its trees turned a gingery brown color, giving the forest its nickname. It is considered one of the world’s most radioactive places.

The employees said that the military vehicles kicked up a “big column of dust,” which may be what sent radiation levels soaring in the area following the invasion. The workers believed that breathing in that much radioactive dust could cause radiation poisoning, which can quickly turn lethal.

You speak of me being glad of losses of Russian forces in the fighting, yet you rationalize and are in denial concerning the policies that put them at risk in the first place. Chernobyl just being one of the more blatant examples, one that does not even involve Ukrainians acting in their self-defense as a source of injury to those soldiers.

According to some experts it's difficult to believe that Russian soldiers got lethal dosage of radiation.

If Russia didn't have nukes I'd almost be more afraid of north Korea's abilities to inflict pain and damage on other countries. If I was russian I'd hang putin for what he has done to that country.

Another mass surrender of Ukrainian troops. This time 36th Marine Brigade (or, to be exact, what remained of them after yesterday's failed attempt to break out from Mariupol):

https://disk.blocked/e0olZQpjm7aUQA

https://disk.blocked/e8vxaNj-3ZOAWA

https://disk.blocked/U_S4djouvX32cg

The previous mass surrender happened at 5 April, when remnants of the 501st Marine Batallion decided that they had enough. There were about 250 POWs. This time there are clearly more of them.

PS These unfortunates clearly didn't read the futuretimeline forum, otherwise they knew that their victory is near as never before.

According to Russian MOD, 1026 in total, of which 162 officers.

What can I say? The wise decision. They will live (even those who, perhaps, do not deserve).

I have much more, including photos of captured British mercenaries which I didn't posted only to spare your feelings.

Extreme Poverty Makes Non-Russians Willing to Serve In Even Poorly Equipped Russian Military
by Paul Goble
April 13, 2022

https://www.eurasiareview.com/13042022- ... tary-oped/

Introduction:
(Eurasian Review) More than 20 percent of Tyvans are unemployed, and more than 40 percent live below the poverty line. As a result, they and other non-Russians are prepared to volunteer for service in the Russian army despite the inadequate support for those who do and even the risk of death, according to the Free Idel-Ural movement.

A few days ago, Tyvan media featured a photograph of a new unit of Tyvan volunteers for the war in Ukraine. It showed many of the new soldiers lacked boots, many of the soldiers were wearing glasses, and some who were clearly far above the prime draft age (idel-ural.org/archives/kreml-poshlet-tuvinczev-umirat-v-ukraine-v-ochkah-i-rezinovyh-botinkah/).

That pattern may strike many as strange given that some might assume that extreme poverty and inadequate equipment might be enough to dissuade Tyvans and other non-Russians from serving; but in fact, the reverse is true. Precisely because non-Russians are doing poorly, they are willing to serve even in an inadequately equipped military.

It isn’t surprising, the movement says, that “the needy and impoverished are prepared to become soldiers in order to have at least some employment.” But “this is a terrible situation. Still more terrible is that not a single Tyvan organization has condemned this step.” Instead, partly out of fear and partly out of understanding, they keep silent or even support their men.
Don't mourn, organize.

Lawyer Who Prosecuted Milosevic Says Russians Could Be Tried for War Crimes In Ukraine
by Dragan Stavljanin
April 12, 2022

https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-ukraine- ... 00200.html

Introduction:
(Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty via Eurasian Review) A veteran human rights lawyer who prosecuted the trial of former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic says Russians could be tried for war crimes over their actions in Ukraine.

Geoffrey Nice, who prosecuted several cases at The Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), told RFE/RL’s Balkan Service that building a war crimes indictment relating to Ukraine “is a substantial task” but “not necessarily” difficult.

“It’s very, very important for Ukraine, and Ukrainians, not to think that the process of building an indictment — and then possibly having someone tried — needs to take years,” he said. The work of the ICTY was often criticized for being too slow, its efforts hampered by countries refusing to give up their citizens accused of war crimes.

Since February 24, when Russia launched an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine that has killed thousands of civilians, Russian troops have been accused of committing war crimes.

In Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, hundreds of civilians were found dead after the withdrawal of Russian forces, with many of them lying in the street with their hands tied. Russia has repeatedly bombarded residential buildings across Ukraine and, on April 8, Russian forces fired a missile at a crowded train station in the eastern city of Kramatorsk, killing at least 52 people.

Pentagon asks top 8 U.S. weapons makers to meet on Ukraine -sources
Source: Reuters

WASHINGTON, April 12 (Reuters) - The Pentagon will host leaders from the top eight U.S. weapons manufacturers on Wednesday to discuss the industry's capacity to meet Ukraine's weapons needs if the war with Russia lasts years, two people familiar with the meeting said on Tuesday.

Demand for weapons has shot up after Russia's invasion on Feb. 24 spurred U.S. and allied weapons transfers to Ukraine. Resupplying as well as planning for a longer war is expected to be discussed at the meeting, the sources told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

The Pentagon's office of Acquisition and Sustainment, the weapons buyer for the U.S. Department of Defense, will host the 90 minute meeting and Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks was expected to attend, one of the people said.

Zelenskyy thanks Biden for saying Russia is committing 'genocide' in Ukraine: 'True words of a true
Source: Business Insider/Taiyler Simone Mitchell
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy called US President Joe Biden a "true leader" for labeling Russia's attacks on Ukraine a "genocide."

Biden's surprising characterization came amid hesitancy by world leaders to use the term "genocide." Just a week prior to changing his language, Biden had held out from using the word genocide and instead discussed "war crimes."

But during a speech Tuesday in Iowa about lowering gas prices, Biden appeared to shift his rhetoric.

"Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank — none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away," Biden said. He later doubled down on the terminology, telling reporters, "I called it genocide because it's become clearer and clearer that Putin is just trying to wipe out even the idea of being Ukrainian," according to CNN.

Putin says peace talks are at 'a dead end' and calls atrocities in Bucha 'fake.'

Source: New York Times
President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia said on Tuesday that peace talks with Ukraine had reached a “dead end” and called the evidence of Russian atrocities in the Kyiv suburb of Bucha “fake,” using his first extended remarks about the war in nearly a month to insist that Russia would persist with its invasion.

Speaking at a news conference at a spaceport in Russia’s Far East, Mr. Putin said that Ukraine had changed its position after the round of peace talks held in Istanbul on March 29 to one that was no longer acceptable to the Kremlin. While there were indications that Ukraine had this week again adopted a more constructive stance, he said, Russia’s “military operation will continue until its full completion” and its goals are met.

Russian Warship Moskva Is On Fire In Black Sea - Media
Source: Ukrainian News Agency

Ukrainian defenders attacked the flagship of the Russian fleet, missile cruiser Moskva. This is reported by volunteer Serzh Marko.

“The cruiser Moskva has just been hit by 2 Neptune missiles. It is standing, burning. And there is a storm at sea. Tactical flooding is required, apparently,” he wrote.

At this point it is not surprising that there are conflicting accounts of this incident coming from the region:

“Moscow” is on Fire: a Fire Broke Out on a Russian Cruiser off the Coast of Crimea
April 13, 2022

https://odessa-journal.com/moscow-is-on ... of-crimea/

Introduction:
(The Odessa Journal) On Wednesday, April 13, a fire broke out on the Russian missile cruiser “Moscow” of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

This information, which was spread on social networks, was confirmed by Aleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to the OPU chairman, in an interview with human rights activist Mark Feygin.

“There was a surprise with the flagship of the navy cruiser “Moscow”. There are 510 crew members, we can’t understand what happened – whether two sailors smoked in the wrong place or violated some security measures once again, it’s unlucky,” he said.

Earlier, the cause of an intense fire on the cruiser was called accurate shots of the Ukrainian anti-ship complex “Neptune”. According to former People’s Deputy Serhiy Vysotsky, two Ukrainian missiles were aimed at the Moscow missile cruiser, part of the 30th division of surface ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

“It has been confirmed to me that two missiles of the Ukrainian anti-ship complex” Neptune “have defeated the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet cruiser” Moscow “! Two hits out of two! The entire Russian Black Sea Fleet has been withdrawn for emergency rescue operations!” – wrote Serhiy Vysotsky

Take this with a small grain of salt but it's up to you to decide to what to make of it.

To know is essentially the same as not knowing. The only thing that occurs is the rearrangement of atoms in your brain.
