I just can't stop thinking about this after few hours. Pigs are intelligent creatures. They feel pain and anguish in remarkably the same way we humans do. Imagine your own children or even yourselves in there being caged up like sardines and then lowered into the dark depths to spend a very long few minutes gasping for air as you slowly asphyxiate while being smothered by the heat of other bodies stacked on top of you.
This is largely the reason I'm strongly supportive of lab-grown meat. The future needs to be civilized and humane.
To know is essentially the same as not knowing. The only thing that occurs is the rearrangement of atoms in your brain.
