Totally forgot that there is no need for nukes. Guess it is a consideration if such a structure is built within orbit hence why living in space is usually put outside of planetary orbit like The Citadel in Mass Effect.
Too toxic I guess? The dangers of exploring planets.

I wasn't sure where to put any Doctor Who and now I know also this was quite a sad part of the tenth doctor's era.

I don't know. It's not really doing it for me. There are instances when the scale is off, like that Borg cube. It was pretty tiny if you compare its height with the surrounding buildings and boats. It still worked for some spacecraft, though. It's a good attempt at trying to show the scale of those things from a different angle.
To know is essentially the same as not knowing. The only thing that occurs is the rearrangement of atoms in your brain.
