Are you saying that the second army in the world does not know how to conduct military campaigns?

The Russians really had a chance to capture the capital of Ukraine, and quickly end this war with victory.

, I have to disagree, there is no "quickly" with a big city. I was you meant was that Russia expected the Ukrainian government to collapse, that's something completely different. If you mean that Ukraine was actually going to negotiate once Kiev was under artillery fire, that would had been a reasonable expectation, but not a certainty.

According to which Ukraine gives up its third largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in exchange for the following guarantees

- Respect the signatory's independence and sovereignty in the existing borders.
- Refrain from the threat or the use of force against the signatory.
- Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by the signatory of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
- Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against the signatory.
