I fucking hate the idea of a second (and third) Trump presidency, but that's not what the quote is saying. They say he should be allowed to run for a second consecutive term, not that the 22nd Amendment should be abolished.

Suella Braverman will appear at a major Conservative conference alongside right-wing Hungarian autocrat Viktor Orban next month.
The former home secretary and Mr Orban have been unveiled as a keynote speakers at the National Conservatism (NatCon) conference in Belgium.
Mr Orban is widely seen as Russian President Vladimir Putin’s closest ally in the European Union and has been accused of launching a crackdown on gay rights and press freedom.
Ms Braverman, who was sacked by Rishi Sunak in November after accusing Metropolitan Police chiefs of bias in their handling of the pro-Palestine protests, risks a backlash for appearing alongside the Hungarian prime minister.
Mr Orban has previously spoken at the annual conference of the International Organisation of the Family (IOF), described by the Human Rights Campaign as a “dangerous group of activists spreading anti-LGBT rhetoric and promoting laws and policies that criminalise LGBT people”.
Police order closure of right-wing conference attended by Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman

Police in Brussels have stormed a right-wing conference attended by Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman after orders for the event to be shut down.
Local authorities ordered the controversial National Conservatism (NatCon) Conference to be closed to “guarantee public safety”.
Ms Braverman, the former home secretary, and Mr Farage, the former Ukip leader, were among the political names advertised to speak at the event on Tuesday alongside right-wing Hungarian autocrat Viktor Orban.
Officers arrived after the event began at the Claridge venue in central Brussels to tell organisers the event would be shut down. According to a report on social media, police arrived while Mr Farage was addressing the event, giving attendees 15 minutes to leave the venue. However, officers did not appear to force the event to shut down and speeches continued.
Police have now said they will not let anyone else into the venue and people can leave and not re-enter.
I feel like this thread has been talking excessively about the US Republican party to the point of almost totally ignoring the terrifying rise and wrath of the actually Fascist Zionist and Hindutva movements

The reason why western governments don't take a hard stance on hindutva fascism or zionist fascism is two fold. In the case of India, India is still seen as a good trade partner and a country that could potentially be courted as an ally by the west. Even though it's pretty clear the India is pursuing a policy of independence and is happy to trade with both America and Russia. In Israel's case it's obvious, Israel is an American puppet and America explicitly approves of Israeli policy.
Ideologically there's another component too though. Liberalism opens the door to fascism and it frankly always has, it is the ideological predecessor not fascism's true opponent. Liberalism supports a capitalist market economy and when the contradictions of that capitalist economy show through it has no answers, yet, ideologically, communism, socialism, communalism, whathaveyou are all unthinkable as they would mean the end of capitalism.
Fascism on the other hand doesn't abolish a capitalist market economy and to liberal ideology preserving the great money god is far more important than any of the social values that liberalism virtue signals, hence, liberalism courts and eventually transitions into fascism as capitalism begins to fail as the final ideological reaction of the capitalist mode of production in order to preserve itself. Profitability of the system is temporarily restored in fascist economies through a return to imperialism and capital destruction, destroying the capital base creates artificial conditions of profit on its reconstruction and it is always profitable in a vacuum to steal from your neighbor even though it's inefficient and the whole system remains unprofitable as a race to the bottom occurs.
There's a reason the fascists kill the communists and other leftists alongside whatever ethnic group(s) they target. It's because liberals will broadly fall in line and aren't a threat, the communists are.

I was thinking just today that maybe this was why Italy and San Marino gravitated towards communism, having seen the horrors of fascism
