A vote for Trump, a third party candidate, or no vote at all, is a vote for a dystopian future.

Moderna's blog post: https://www.modernatx.com/en-US/media-c ... ith-openai

WSJ article: "At Moderna, OpenAI’s GPTs Are Changing Almost Everything"

Archived WSJ article: https://archive.ph/D1rvH
Moderna is expected to announce a partnership Wednesday with artificial-intelligence heavyweight OpenAI, a deal that aims to automate nearly every business process at the biotechnology company and boost the ChatGPT maker’s reach into the enterprise.

As part of the transaction, some 3,000 Moderna employees will have access to ChatGPT Enterprise, built on OpenAI’s most advanced language model, GPT-4, by the end of this week. Further integration of AI into more of its processes could help Moderna outpace its plan to roll out 15 new products within the next five years, the Cambridge, Mass., company said.

A Scientist Says AI Could Kill Us in About 200 Years

Look, I'm not an AI hater or anything; I'm all for AGI, but we do need to care about safety. However, if you said this on r/singularity the response would just be "accelerate" and "ew ea grift"

This is why I believe in enhancing the human body through gene therapy or at the very least merging ourselves with a.i. We have to think about our future and we want to make damn sure we're still at the top at the end of the day. We can not develop another life form that hates us and wants to rule or kill us off.

Claude 3 Opus has stunned AI researchers with its intellect and 'self-awareness' — does this mean it can think for itself?

This piece offers a counterargument to the idea that Opus, specifically, is self-aware. However, there are likely sentient models in the lab, if public statements by Altman on OAI's goals (models that can actually reason, like people) as well as Jimmy Apples's repost of Roon's comment is to be taken into account.
