When using status updates If I try to share a youtube video, tweet etc, text I have written in front of the link does not appear above the shared content. Instead it appears to the side at the and at the bottom away from the readers eye.

If you want the text to be at the top (above the link of any type), type the text and then hold the spacebar until there is enough empty space between the text and the link. If that doesn't work, keep adding more empty space. Keep trying until you've got it.

I normally paste my text (and link) into Notepad, press return a couple of times after my text, then copy everything and paste into the status.
