Too bad to see NASA cancelling this but I hope another company gets the chance and buys it and we will eventually see what will be in the Ice in the Moon's South Pole one day.

3,000 AD – The fossil record of T. Rex is largely complete

Based on this reference:

"to find an animal in the top 99.99% of body size, researchers think they would have to excavate fossils at the current rate for another 1,000 years."

I'm writing this today.

I also see that New Zealand has a target of 2055:

BepiColombo needs to be moved to November 2026; they've suffered a delay due to solar panel issues.

The chance of 1950 DA impacting the Earth on March 16, 2880 has now declined to 1 in 2600.

https://cneos.jpl.nasa.gov/sentry/detai ... ?des=29075

On that note, perhaps 2010 RF12 should be added to the entry for 2095. It has a 1 in 10 chance of impacting the Earth on September 5, 2095.

"Scientists say the most probable date that Bennu could hit Earth is 24 September 2182, according to Nasa. But it is still just a probability of 1 in 2,700."

I do hope this can be my one suggestion that eventually makes it to the timeline, as we are very, very likely to raise Earth's CO2 levels to above 450 ppm by 2050. According to the paper this graphic is from, if CO2 rises above 550 ppm, then there will be no drop in insolation within the next 500,000 years that is strong enough to trigger a new ice age.

A greatly extended "summer vacation" for the human species...but at what cost??
