Re: Post singularity fantasy virtual world game ideas

I want that to be a world where you can level up from 1 to 999 and not be constrained by our universe physical limitations which make our bodies super ugly, weak and dim-witted. And that world would not have microtransactions.

Re: Anteacceleratio Redux

Are you sure of this waves of change thing? Because I'm not. I think that progress is continual and exponential. World economic growth doesn't follow waves. If you for example look at share of the world population living in absolute poverty, then that graph is smooth and predictable. In the year 200...

Re: Capitalism is killing the planet – it’s time to stop buying into our own destruction

Billions of people are poor and you are proposing not making people wealthier? People have dreams and wants, they will pursue that, because that's what makes us who we are. However, I am a supporter of virtual reality, computer realms. There you could potentially do whatever you want, whenever and w...

Re: Wooden architecture

I think it makes sense to use wood if it's in abundance. I'm not 100% sure about it, but looks like a good alternative to concrete, bricks and steel. I predict CLT and glulam to become more widely used as years go by.

Re: Skyscrapers & High-Rise Architecture

Too bad. I like large skyscrapers. Even if they don't make much sense apart from vanity. They are also tourist attractions. Burj Khalifa doesn't even have its own wastewater sewage system yet (under construction), but it's an unforgettable place to visit. I know people who were there and they wouldn...

Money milking again... they should leave The Matrix alone.

I won't see this for sure and I bet it will be a mediocre or a bad movie. But such are the times we live in.

It's really crazy that anyone still has objections to body morphological freedom. It's XXI century and people are still debating this topic... it's gradually getting better though.

Re: General gaming news and discussion

The thing is, we are seeing lots of re-releases, remasters and remakes. Not a whole lot of fresh new ideas and innovation. Indie devs are being more bold in game design more often than AAA devs. One thing is that whenever they try to change something, gamers cry that they prefer the old ways (look a...

Re: The Fourth Industrial Revolution

Half of all economic development happened after 2005: https://i.postimg.cc/zBhY1yV4/Global-GDP-current-prices-1985-2026.png Despite the 2008 economic crisis, 2015 global trade slowdown and 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. There is no revolution, there is only evolution. Robots are already automating, it is h...
