Re: 12 predictions for the future of music

It's already oversimplified nowadays. And that's will be even worse. Personally I do not need new music because there are a lot good old music which will be enough for me till my elderly :D

Re: Socialism vs Capitalism containment thread

Capitalism is a base. This thing is based on competition which is part of our nature. There is no pure capitalist country but we can see, that only capitalist countries can do things such as space discoveries. Even if you give me as an example Soviets and Chinese, I'd parry it saying that the Soviet...

Delays with SpaceX launch...

Polishing next delay again :D Due to unfavorable weather conditions, NASA postponed the launch of the third SpaceX mission with a crew. The launch was originally scheduled for October 31 at 2:21 AM ET, but has now been pushed back to November 3 at 1:10 AM. NASA hopes that this transfer will be the l...

Earth photos

Considering the fact that I was always into space and everything related to this, there is no surprise that I absolutely LOVE to do photos of the stars. Since my childhood, I've been doing photos of stars and loved photos of earth from a space view. This is a hobby of my life and always will be. I'm...

Re: Particle-based Weaponry

It's hard to say will we see it during the 21-st century or not, but I bet that these weapons are not going to look like they looked in science fiction/literature. Of course, scientists will try to fit their designs into current pop culture, but I doubt it'll have similar look. Speaking about materi...

Re: Are planet-destroying weapons practical?

It's hard to say is practical to destroy the planet or not, but did you hear what Musk said about a nuclear nuke? Elon Musk, on the air of the evening television program Late Show in 2019, proposed making Mars fit for life and subsequent colonization with the help of thermonuclear weapons. That's an...

Re: 2045 predictions

Seeing how rapidly the world is changing, it can be assumed that in 2045 it will be completely different. Obviously, artificial intelligence will be introduced into all spheres: everyday life, industry, transport, medicine, education, etc., production will become cheaper, and life will be safer.

Re: The movie "Gamer"

I'll tell you what: before watching, you should turn off your brains, take a lot of beer and a large company. It's a fucking action movie. Logic does not work here, here the main thing is to enjoy the spectacle. And the film coped with its mission.

Re: Are planet-destroying weapons practical?

A weapon that is capable of destroying entire planets might seem to be an amazing weapon, but there are some drawbacks to them. They would cost a lot of money to build and would probably need a lot of power to operate, and if they are as big enough, they would need to be defended. So, it makes more...
