What is Ethical AI Art?
Gosh, I don't have any word to say without getting cancelled from either side. I'm gonna dump my big rant here, given that recent events of "NO TO AI ART" by artists has started to surge on DeviantArt and Artstation. Not sure if its even the right thread, but please move it if it isn’t app...

Re: Your 2023 predictions
I'm gonna be turning my own predictions into some time capsule for me to review. I don't use the forum as much, but I do come here at times for some synthetic media and AI updates. So here we go, 2023 predictions from me (14 new ones, I thought it'd be good to just focus on 14 annually): Russia will...

Re: 2022 predictions
Here's some of my 2022 predictions, with politics in it. (Some of them being really divisive) Booster shots are now commonplace across the world to keep people immunised from COVID-19 as life becomes 'normal' again, with restrictions being loosened and air travel resumes to most countries (except f...

Re: Cloning Extinct Species
Long time since I came to this forum. But my thoughts on cloning extinct animals is a full go. But we’ll never get dinosaurs or the like and we’ll probably mever going to bring back a true woolly mammoth or with the recent news coming out, a true thylacine.

Re: Ukraine War Watch Thread
I mentioned the Nagorno-Karabakh war earlier If we want to understand what the Ukraine war will hold, it's best to look back to it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Nagorno-Karabakh_war I’ve followed this war in late 2020 and its after effects in early 2021 especially on Armenia. Yet the average ...

Re: 2022 predictions
I was looking for the 2021 prediction thread to see some of the posts and whether they had been updated to reflect the year's technological progress, has anyone from that board got an updated list of predictions? not that I know of. the old forum is gone so i'm not sure there's a way to retrieve th...

Re: The Star Trek thread
Hi there! My apologies I didn't search enough to find an existing thread on this. Has the Trekkie genre gotten better or worse? It seems around the 2000's it made the jump to more engaging but also CGI. I remember the old ones were stale in comparison from the few episodes I saw here and there but ...

Re: Order a Designer Baby
A very interesting concept, although I think websites that would do it may be more complex than what its shown here. I know its a concept and not necessarily real, but yeah, its a good hypothetical.
