A nuclear shield protecting the U.S. would actually be destabilizing since Russia, China and North Korea would compensate by building more nuclear missiles in order to penetrate it. Future weapon idea: Gremlin drones the sizes of insects and small animals that crawl into the mechanical spaces of planes that are parked at airports. After the drones sense the planes have taken off, they cut the fuel line or inject a substance into it that clogs it.
